2016 Honda Civic: How It Can Influence The Fit?

By  |

What is there not to like about the tenth generation Civic? The compact car from Honda is now larger in size and has got more power to offer than the last Civic Si.

In detail, the Honda Civic is powered by the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that can generate 174hp and 162ft-lbs of torque. The Civic can also return up to 42mpg in fuel economy. The Civic is a big step up from the previous generation model and this can mean well for other vehicles from Honda.

Among them is the Honda Fit. The current Fit cost $3,000 less than the Civic but it can’t generate as much power and can’t save as much fuel. Perhaps, the Fit can go through a big upgrade like the Civic and offer better power figures and better fuel economy.

If the rumours are to be referred to, Honda is already working on a big upgrade for all their vehicles. For the Fit, the car will be powered by a turbocharged 1.5L engine that is refined for better fuel economy. The rumours are saying that the future Fit will be able to return up to 48mpg.

Of course rumours are still rumours and they should be taken with a grain of salt. We are certainly excited to see what Honda has in store for the next-gen Fit.
