The latest, tenth-generation, Honda Civic had just completed the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety test and it achieved Top Safety Pick+. This is an amazing achievement and it goes to say that the Civic is like a fortress on wheels.

In detail, IIHS graded the Civic with 5 Good in all 5 different crash modes. Separately, the Civic achieved Superior rating in frontal crash prevention. Of course, this is only applicable for the Civic that is equipped with Honda Sensing suite which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and collision mitigation braking.

All in all, it is a good result for the Civic and the safety of the car will definitely turn into a great point of sales. Many are already ordering the new Civic, especially the trim that runs on the newly developed 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine.
