2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Need To Go Slower For Audi

By  |

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is in hot streak at the moment, having won various Car of the Year awards for 2016. This is not surprising really because the Giulia is just the best premium sports sedan money can buy at the moment.

Reliability-worries aside, the Giulia offers great value as it is priced slightly lower than other luxury carmakers and it is able to offer an engaging performance. The top-of-the-line Giulia Quadrifoglio is the sweetest treat of them all as the car can pump out more than 500hp from a 2.9L bi-turbo V6.

The Giulia QV is really fast and it has made its mark by clocking some of the best track times around. The Giulia QV has proved that it is faster than its rivals but this is not exactly healthy for the competition.

Alfa realized this when they revealed that a mid-trim Giulia is needed to prevent the car from overkilling its rivals. New names like the Audi S6 are struggling to get recognition with the Giulia QV overshadowing it on the performance front.

Obviously, the S6 is no match for the Giulia QV thus a mid-trim model is needed to be a more compatible competitor for the car from Audi.
