2017 Audi A4: Android Auto & Apple CarPlay Is A Shortcut Short Of Awesomeness!

What is there not to like about the latest Audi A4? The 2017 A4 has got the looks, luxuries, performance and also the technologies that helps boost your commuting experience.

One of the technologies which we love on the A4 is the sophisticated infotainment system. The slate is noticeably faster than the average infotainment in the automotive industry and it is also pre-loaded with a decent Audi map application.

The other good thing about the new infotainment system on the A4 is that it comes equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The only unfortunate thing here is that you may experience some hassle with utilizing Android Auto and Apply CarPlay – unlike how it is with other apps on the system.

Let’s say you exited Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, getting back into the phone-pairing tool will require you to wheel-through the Main Menu. This is not a big issue but it can be annoying, especially when all the other apps on the system can be switched into with a single button.

In short, the A4’s Android Auto and Apple CarPlay lacks that shortcut hence it may distract you a little when driving. We don’t see this as a major issue although it can be annoying in the beginning.
