2017 Dodge Durango: Only A Step From Hellcat
One can accuse Fiat-Chrysler for overusing the Hellcat nameplate but it is something for the better, right? The 6.2L V8 engine with 707hp is widely loved by auto fans and having more vehicles with that amount of power makes the performance market all the more lively.
Soon, FCA will launch the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which is technically a Hellcat engine and it might not be the only 707hp SUV that is in the works. If the last SEMA show is anything to go by, the Dodge Durango too may get the Hellcat treatment.
The Dodge Shake Concept, which is based on the Durango, was teased with a 6.4L V8 engine and a shaker hood scoop. The vehicle promises a lot of power and if produced, it will be called the Durango SRT.
Well, SRT is a step below Hellcat thus making it likely for Dodge to start thinking about the Durango Hellcat model. Would you like the Durango Hellcat to happen?
