2017 Ford F-150 Beats GM, FCA & BMW In Reliability

By  |

Developing reliable cars are something Japanese manufacturers are really good at. Names like Toyota and Honda are the front-runners in the field of reliability so when we saw the latest Ford F-150 joining in the mix, we can’t help but to share it with you.

Based on Consumer Reports newly updated list of cars that can easily cover 200,000 miles without a single issue, the Ford F-150 was found on the tenth spot. This is amazing because the F-150 is the only non-Japanese car to be on that list. Plus, the F-150 is an aluminum pickup truck and the fact it is on the list shows how good its build quality really is.

As for the other nine positons in the chart, they are cars from either Toyota or Honda. The list is topped by the Honda Accord and this is followed by the Toyota Camry, Honda Odyssey, Honda Civic, Toyota Prius, Toyota Sienna, Honda CR-V, Toyota Corolla and the Toyota 4Runner in that particular order.

Americans can be proud of the F-150 for this accomplishment and we can only hope for other Ford vehicles to step up on the reliability front.

This is based on a report in March of 2016. How about an updated version?
