2017 Ford F-150: Better Late Than Never
Ordering a brand new, performance-focussed F-150 can be a pain for the consumers as the waiting time is really long. Despite having booked our F-150 Raptor, we are made to wait more than 3 months for the pickup truck to get delivered.
It took Ford a while to respond to our queries and they have finally responded today. It appears that our F-150 Raptor is being held in the production facility, together with thousands of other F-150s. Ford decided to delay the deliveries for reasons unknown but they are now working on sending the F-150 out to the dealers.
More than 15,000 units of the F-150 Raptor is pending to get delivered and Ford is hoping to clear the mess up before the year ends.
Considering that the F-150 Raptor is powered by a new 3.5L EcoBoost turbo-V6 engine with a 10-speed automatic gearbox, we can easily forgive the delay so long as the pickup truck we ordered arrives at our door step in one piece. Like they always say – better late than never.
