2017 GMC Canyon vs Honda Ridgeline: The Big Change-Up

Honda is a carmaker that is very competitive in every segment it competes in. Whenever the carmaker is able to grab hold of top spot on the sales charts, they will do everything they can to cling on the number one position.

We have seen Honda did it before with the tenth generation Civic and CR-V. Now, Honda may just give the Ridgeline way more attention than before. The Ridgeline is a midsized pickup truck that has not been doing too well since it made its debut but it is now experiencing a change in fortune.

The month of May 2017 concluded with the Honda Ridgeline climbing up the charts to a position above the GMC Canyon. This is quite massive; especially when you consider that the Canyon has long been that go-to pickup truck in the segment whereas the Ridgeline is a bottom section warmer.

With the fortunes changing for the Ridgeline, Honda has pledged to introduce more interesting options for the midsized pickup truck and this is so that they can keep on climbing the sales charts all the way to the top.
