2017 Honda Civic Si vs Nissan Sentra NISMO: We Have A Winner

By  |

The all-new Honda Civic Si is now officially available for purchase and this signals the end of the Nissan Sentra NISMO. The latter gained a lot of attention following its debut very recently ago but its bad ratings have prevented the compact car from making an impactful debut.

The Civic Si, on the other hand, is a more performance-focused version of the tenth generation Civic and its figures are simply way more attractive than the Nissan Sentra NISMO.

Price-wise, the Civic Si is cheaper than the Sentra NISMO as it retails from $24,775. The car relies on a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that can churn out 205hp and 192ft-lbs of torque. This is more than the Sentra NISMO, which can only manage 188hp and 177ft-lbs of torque.

The icing on the cake is with the fact that the Civic Si spared a lot of thought for daily driving. Even with so much power to offer, the Civic Si can return up to 38mpg in fuel economy. This is about 7mpg more than the Nissan Sentra NISMO thus making the car from Honda the obvious winner.
