Yes you read the title right. It is something which we still can’t comprehend after learning that the current generation Jeep Wrangler has greater resale value than the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma.

Resale value is synonymous with the vehicles from Toyota hence seeing the Jeep Wrangler doing better is really hard to accept. What’s more shocking about it is that the Wrangler is marginally more valuable than runner-up Toyota Tundra.

In the latest publishing of Motor Trend magazine, it is stated that the Wrangler holds 76% of its value after 5 years. Meanwhile, the Tundra and Tacoma share the second spot as both vehicles can hold 69% of its value over the same period of time.

It is worth noting that the statistics is only for new trucks and SUVs. It does not take into account sedans and any other automotive segments. So what could be the cause of it?
