2017 Lotus Evora: New Base Trim Equals Bigger Potential

By  |

What is there not to like about the Lotus Evora? The sports car is really light in weight and it is able to offer a unique performance like no other. The only problem with the Evora is that the car can be quite expansive to own.

Well, this might soon change in the near future. Lotus is planning to release a new base trim for the Evora. This means that the Evora will be cheaper to own and this will allow more consumers to purchase the vehicle.

Despite being a base model, the Evora will still be powerful on the road. The vehicle will drop the 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine in favour of the 3.5L V6 engine that is sourced from the Toyota Camry.

Of course, details on the Evora base trim are still scarce at the moment and you will need to check out the New York Auto Show to learn more about the vehicle. The motoring event that is scheduled to take place tomorrow will also see Lotus announcing on the price of the Evora.
