2017 Maserati Levante Pursuing Volume That Is Greater Than Porsche

By  |

It looks like Maserati is dreaming big as they want the Levante to become a luxury sports SUV that can top the sales charts. Maserati revealed earlier today that their target is for the Levante to overtake Porsche sales figures.

In detail, Maserati wants the Levante to outsell both the Macan and the Cayenne. This is a big ambition since the Macan and the Cayenne accumulated a total of 30,006 examples sold in an entire calendar year of 2015. It won’t be a walk in the park for Maserati as their overall global sales in 2015 stands at 35,500.

If Maserati is to achieve their target with the Levante, they will see their overall sales figures doubling over that of last year. The way we see it, it all goes down to competitive pricing, offerings and the right amount of marketing. Can Maserati pull it off?
