2018 Audi TT RS Spells Doom For Nissan GT-R!

In a matter of months from now, Audi is going to commence selling the all-new TT RS here in the US and this is bound to cost a lot of problems for the Nissan GT-R.

The latter is a fan-favorite sports car due to its amazing power-to-price ratio but its age-old offering is making it less attractive than the TT RS. The GT-R has already conceded defeat to the latest generation Audi R8 V10 Plus and it is narrowly quicker than the TT RS on the straight line.

This was confirmed today when both the TT RS and the GT-R was competed against each other on the quarter mile conducted by Top Gear. The TT RS may not have as much power as the GT-R but its lightness enabled it to slingshot off the line, ahead of Godzilla. Towards the finish line however, the GT-R managed to catch-up and narrowly beat its German counterpart.

The way we see it, the TT RS is the winner here because of the price-to-power ratio. Audi has confirmed that the TT RS will retail from $65,875 and this is almost half the price of the GT-R.
