2018 BMW M5: Is $8000 Worth Paying For 40HP?

By  |

What is there not to like about the all-new BMW M5? The latest M5 is confirmed to be faster and better equipped than its predecessor but it still comes with one catch. It is a higher calling price.

The previous M5 has an MSRP of about $95,095 and the new M5 is more expansive as it retails from $103,595. However, the latter justified its price increase by having 600hp to offer instead of 560hp.

Furthermore, the new M5 is packed with more features and the list includes firmer anti-roll bars, extra chassis bracing and a wider track. With these upgrades, the M5 is not only faster than its predecessor but also more efficient around the track.

We are actually relieved by the outcome of the new M5 because it has been a very long time since the M offerings look exciting. It is good to see BMW still got it when it comes to making sporty cars.
