2018 Jeep Wrangler vs Ford Bronco Will Turn GM Into Third Wheel

By  |

Back in the 90s, the 4×4 SUV market was divided into two. Consumers either pick up a Jeep Wrangler or the Ford Bronco. The latter then got discontinued thus handing the Wrangler a free pass in sales.

After two decades of being an absentee, we can now confirm that the Bronco is making a return and the next-gen model is projected to arrive in 2019. The Bronco’s revival spells trouble for the next-gen Jeep Wrangler as it may divide the consumers all over again.

The stiff rivalry between the Bronco and Wrangler is imminent and they look set to take the SUV market by storm. This is unfortunate for Ford’s bitter rival GM as they don’t have a 4×4 SUV that can compete closely with the Bronco and Wrangler.

The attention will be on the next-gen Bronco and Wrangler thus leaving GM in the dark. This is unless GM can churn out an exciting 4-wheeler that can spice up the affordable off-road market.
