2018 Lexus NX Facelift Set To Leave Acura In Envy
The ongoing Shanghai Auto Show has seen many interesting unveilings and among them is the upcoming Lexus NX Facelift. The smallest SUV in Lexus’ line-up was seen having a different appearance and it is also one that is easier to the eye.
As how you can see above, the upcoming NX has got its aggressive front fascia toned down. The sharp shape of the past is now made to be curvier as the upper grille slants inwards into the hood. Not only does this make the NX easier to look at, the changes is also meant to improve on aerodynamics.
Lexus also mentioned that they have made some tweaks on the door sills and this is so that the cabin is better insulated against noise from the outside. The powertrains, on the other hand, will remain unchanged from the current model.
Everything sounds great for the NX and such changes can further boost the vehicle’s presence on the road. The NX is already Lexus’ third bestselling vehicle and the numbers can grow further with the refreshed model.
As such, it is perhaps right to say that Acura is feeling a twinge of envy for the NX as the carmaker has been struggling greatly on the sales front. At this rate, Lexus can truly leave behind Acura as its primary rival to grow further in the luxury market.
