2018 Nissan Leaf Has More Value Than Tesla, Chevy Bolt!

By  |

In the face of the Chevrolet Bolt and, say, a Tesla Model 3, the Nissan Leaf is not quite there yet as the car lacks a massive electric driving range that features on its rivals. Aside from that, everything about the Leaf feels like a winner.

The car is rated highly by major reviewers for having a decent performance and attractive design. The biggest perk with the new generation Leaf is with its cost-to-own for 5 years and the car is simply the cheapest in the segment it competes in.

This explains why Kelley Blue Book has decided to name the Nissan Leaf as their winner for the 5-Year Cost to Own award under the electric vehicles category, beating the Chevrolet Bolt and also the Tesla Model 3.

For its price, the Nissan Leaf simply has more to offer and its simplistic nature greatly suggests on a worry-free driving experience which can last more than 5 years with ease.

No one can claim 5 year costs at day one, and value is not particularly equivalent to cost, anyway. I don’t believe that any Bolt or Model 3 owner would agree that the Leaf has more “value.”
