2018 Toyota Supra Gets Pressured By Pickup Truck Sibling!

You know something is off when a flagship performance car is unable to go faster than a stock pickup truck. It gets worst if the pickup truck is being developed by the same company.

With this in mind, it is perhaps right to say that the next-gen Toyota Supra is feeling a lot of pressure as it will need to beat the performance of the range-topping Tundra. The large pickup truck is confirmed to be the fastest vehicle in Toyota’s camp at the moment and this is thanks to the TRD Superchargers.

The latter is now being offered with the Tundra as an add-on option and it can allow the large pickup truck to hit 60mph from stop in less than 4 seconds. This is a remarkable achievement for a stock pickup truck hence Toyota will need to do a lot more for the next-gen Supra.

The Supra is decorated as the best sports car ever produced by Toyota so it is important for it to beat the Tundra on the performance front. Anything short will be unacceptable.
