2018 Volkswagen Atlas: Hype Is Driving Cherokee Loyalists Mad
There is a great deal of hype surrounding the all-new Volkswagen Atlas and it is easy to understand why. The average consumers are simply pleased with the practicality and performance on the Atlas.
But of course, the Atlas is still unable to appeal to everyone, especially those that respects the Jeep Cherokee too much. These folks were loud in criticizing the Atlas’ design for looking too much like the Cherokee. Some even went as far as developing a comparison image involving the two vehicles in a bid to pinpoint the similarities in design.
Looks aside, the Volkswagen Atlas is still an attractive vehicle all-around. The Atlas is competitively priced at around $30,000 and it has 235hp to offer from a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.
The Atlas is also well-equipped on the technological front as it comes with multiple USB ports, VW Digital Cockpit, rear-view camera and an automatic post-collision braking system.
