2019 Acura RDX: Don’t Mistake Me For A Honda CR-V!

What you’re looking at above is an official photo of the 2019 Acura RDX and we are actually pleased with the design of the SUV. After seeing too many similar-looking SUVs breaking into the scene, the RDX offers a fresh appearance and the best part is that the vehicle is not all about looks.

Unlike how it is with previous RDX that is suggested by many to be a pimped-up Honda CR-V, the upcoming model promises a driving experience that is unique to Acura.

The details are not finalized yet but Acura has confirmed that they are ditching the standard AWD setup for SH-AWD with the RDX. This award-winning drivetrain will ensure a dynamic and thoroughly enjoyable driving experience with the luxury SUV.

As for the mill, we are expecting Acura to utilize the 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is sourced from the 2018 Honda Accord. At least it is now less likely to identify the RDX as a glorified CR-V.
