2019 Acura RDX Going Away For Chevrolet Bolt Money!

It is official. After months of teasers and strong marketing campaigns, Acura has announced on when the next-gen RDX will be going on sale.

The luxury arm of Honda revealed that the RDX will be making its sales debut on Friday this week and they also announced that the luxury SUV will retail from $38,295. This means that the Acura RDX will only be a few hundreds more expansive than the Chevrolet Bolt – before EV rebates of course.

It will be interesting to see how the market will react to the release of the RDX and this is especially when the SUV will be commencing a new era for Acura. The carmaker has revealed that their mistake in the past decade was using Lexus as a benchmark in the luxury scene.

They have changed direction which helps explains why the upcoming RDX will no longer feature the ridiculous beak design. The infotainment system too promises to be the best in the industry through the use of a touchpad over a full touchscreen layout.

For the fully equipped model, the RDX will cost you about $48,395 and it will feature a host of technologies as well as the hallmark SH-AWD drivetrain.
