2019 Ford Ranger: Raptor To Sit Out Debut Day!

By  |

Come next year, Ford is going to launch the next-gen Ranger and many can’t wait to check out what the midsized pickup truck will have to offer.

We already know that the Ranger will be built on the same platform used by the global model and it will also borrow some powertrains from the larger F-150. What we are curious to know is if there is going to be a Ranger Raptor coming out with the next-gen model.

Ford may have yet to touch on this particular subject but it is not stopping from the rumors and leaks from suggesting that the Ranger Raptor is already a work in progress. The word is that Ford wants to compete with GM on every front hence the Ranger Raptor is a must to challenge the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.

Well, this makes complete sense but we won’t hold our breath just yet. This is because the reports are all claiming that the Ranger Raptor won’t be debuting together with the standard Ranger next year. The vehicle is being reserved for a later date and we will get back to you once we get more word on this.
