2019 Infiniti QX50: A Scaled-Up Nissan Rogue?

By  |

One bad habit of big volume auto manufacturers that has a luxury sub-brand is that they tend to offer little for the premium market due to the vehicles being based on an affordable model.

Well, it looks like the habit is not going away as the upcoming Infiniti QX50 appears to be a Nissan Rogue clone but with bumped-up measurements and probably more blings.

Infiniti released a photo of the upcoming QX50 earlier today, ahead of the vehicle’s debut at the LA Auto Show, and we can’t help but to notice a lot of Nissan Rogue going on with the design.

The face of the QX50 may look like it is purely from Infiniti but the shape of the vehicle says something else. The wheel arches, side profile and C-pillar seem identical to the Nissan Rogue.

If the exterior is already having too much Rogue, then perhaps the driving mechanics and the interior won’t be too different.

But of course, this is just our fears for the QX50. We can only be certain about it once the QX50 make its debut at LA next week.
