2019 Jeep Cherokee Has New Looks To Match Big Brother

By  |

Jeep was at the Detroit Auto Show this week where they showed off the 2019 Jeep Cherokee and it was clear that Jeep was trying to make sure the 2019 Jeep Cherokee design matches what their other models are offering right now.

Unlike the current model, the 2019 model will not be fitted with the split lighting. Instead, it will be getting a single driving light and headlight that is set in a much more traditional position. The lamp lights were also given a redesign for 2019.

In the back, the Jeep Cherokee will be fitted with taillights with LED accents. Overland models will be given a chrome tow hook while the Trailhawk model will come with a bright red hook along with additional features like skid plates, increased ride height, 17inch wheels and more.

No such changes were made on the inside of the vehicle. The console was given a minor upgrade and the cargo size was increased but the rest would remain the same for 2019. Powering the Jeep Cherokee is the new 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four engine. Other engine options include the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 and 2.4 liter Tigershark inline four. The engines will be mated to a night speed auto transmission.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee should be arriving within the next few months.
