2019 Jeep Scrambler May Not Compete With Ford Ranger, Here’s Why

If you have been following Jeep, you must have heard of their plans to bring out a brand new Wrangler-based pickup truck. Well, this truck is now confirmed to be called the Scrambler and it is bound to make its debut within a year from now.

Pickup trucks are really popular hear in the US and the Scrambler has got a great prospect to sell well. Aside from being just a pickup truck, the Scrambler promises to offer an unrivalled off-road experience and this is thanks to the Wrangler DNA which it is based on.

Everything about the Scrambler sounds great, until we came to realize that the vehicle is unlikely made to compete with the returning Ford Ranger. As how you can see in the picture above, the Scrambler is really large in size hence making it more likely for the vehicle to compete in the full-sized scene, against the likes of Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado.

The full-sized pickup has long been dominated by the F-150 and the Scrambler can change that through proper marketing and the right offering. It will be interesting to see what the Scrambler will be made of and this will have to wait until the vehicle makes its debut next year.
