2019 Jeep Scrambler: Tailgate May Cause An Issue!

By  |

The Scrambler is the next major vehicle to come from Jeep following the next-gen Wrangler and it is one of the most anticipated vehicles right now. This cannot be helped as the Scrambler will be based on the Wrangler and this has raised its off-roading prospects.

The Wrangler is already an icon and a benchmark in the off-road scene hence anything based on the vehicle is bound to come out good for all-terrain driving. Off-road is a key component on an American pickup truck and the Wrangler may hand the Scrambler an advantage against more established names in the market.

Everything sounds great for the upcoming Scrambler but the same can’t be said for the vehicle’s pictures. There are plenty of spy photos of the Scrambler and they all highlighted on one major issue – size.

Some off-road enthusiasts mentioned that the Scrambler may be too huge for its own good. The extreme length may result in poor departure angles. The Scrambler simply has too much rear overhang which can lead to the spare tire getting damaged on an expedition

But of course, to label the Scrambler as a failure this early on won’t be right at all. The best thing to do is to wait until Jeep unveils the Scrambler and see if the vehicle has got what it takes to take a beating in the wilderness.
