2019 Lexus LC F vs Nissan GT-R vs Acura NSX: Defining Japan’s Finest

Japanese automotive brands hold the biggest share in the global automotive market and this is thanks to the value which they offer. The cars from Honda, Toyota and Nissan are all affordable and they also offer some luxury-level features.

But when it comes to sports cars, it is only Nissan that holds the top spot in the market. The GT-R which debuted a decade ago has had its historical moments but its aging offering is allowing rival vehicles to catch up.

We can already see it happening with the Acura NSX, which cleverly utilizes a hybrid setup to rival the GT-R’s performance. Toyota’s Lexus will be joining in the fun as they promise to launch a one-of-a-kind LC F.

The latter is said to come out running on a 4L twin-turbo V8 with more than 600hp to offer. The LC F will hope to challenge the GT-R in terms of performance and value.

Clearly, a massive race involving all three cars need to happen if we wish to identify the best performance car from Japan in this new era. Will the GT-R be able to hold its position as the best sports car around?
