2019 Nissan Frontier Calls For Ford Ranger Prevention!

The midsized pickup truck scene is about to get a whole lot more interesting as several new vehicles are going to come out in 2018, next year. Among them is the next-gen Ford Ranger, which is expected to arrive somewhere in Q1 2018.

The Ranger is said to adopt the same recipe for success used on the F-150 and it is hoping to dominate the once-dead segment. Word on the Ford Ranger’s return has already impacted the midsized scene as recent months have seen GM and Toyota announcing on some upgrades for the Colorado and the Tacoma respectively.

Today, it is Nissan’s turn to voice out their ambitions for the midsized market and that is through confirming on the development of a new generation Frontier. Nissan said that next-gen Frontier will put the focus on raw power – something which Americans love.

The carmaker is planning to do so by offering the Frontier with a new V6 engine although they have yet to share on what sort of output the Frontier will have. The full details will come out as we near the Frontier’s release next year. Will it be enough to stop the Ranger?
