2019 Tesla Roadster: Odds In Favour Of 1400HP!

Tesla has already confirmed on the development of the next-gen Roadster and they have also provided a forecast on how fast the vehicle is going to be.

In case you have missed the unveiling, the next-gen Roadster is said to come out with 10,000Nm of torque and the ability to hit 60mph in just 1.9 seconds. Those figures are certainly insane but the former should not be misunderstood engine torque because it is actually wheel torque.

Wheel torque varies in numbers and they are pretty much useless in painting an idea on how fast a vehicle can go. The explanation was provided by popular YouTuber, Engineering Explained, and he even used every potential figure with the Roadster to predict the likely power count.

Like how it is mentioned in the title above, the Roadster is likely to have between 1,000hp and 1,400hp. The horsepower range will depend on the weight of the next-gen Roadster and the prediction took into account of it. For the full details, you can check out the clip below:
