2019 Toyota Supra: Forget Civic Type R, Beating Tundra Is More Important

By  |

Every passing day brings us closer to the debut of the next-gen Toyota Supra and we can’t wait to check out what the vehicle has to offer.

The Supra is expected to become the best sports car in the affordable market when released and this means that it will need to be faster than the likes of Ford Focus RS and the Honda Civic Type R.

Well, we find it more important for the Supra to forget about the competition as there are other things which the car needs to achieve such as beating the Tundra. Why Tundra? Because the large pickup truck is currently the fastest vehicle in Toyota’s line-up.

Ever since Toyota started offering the TRD Supercharger as an add-on to the Tundra, the pickup truck can defy the laws of physics and achieve blazing speed. The Supra is defined as a sports car and it will suck if the vehicle is unable to outpace a mammoth that is the Tundra.

Should the Supra be able to beat the Tundra, it will put the vehicle in a strong position against its competition. The verdict will be out when the Supra make its debut at LA Auto Show next month.
