Alfa Romeo Giulia: Nice Try Kia Stinger!
The ongoing Detroit Auto Show has seen many interesting unveilings and among them is the Kia Stinger. The production version of the Kia Stinger Concept from several years ago stole the limelight with the performance which it promises.
In case you are unaware, the Stinger will operate on the 3.3L bi-turbo V6 engine that is borrowed from the Genesis G90. This will allow it to develop to develop 365hp and 376ft-lbs of torque, as well as the ability to sprint from 0-62mph in 5.1 seconds.
The stats are impressive and it got a handful of the auto fans comparing the Stinger to several performance premium cars from Europe. Alfa Romeo will be pleased to know that they are not affected by it at all as they have the Giulia.
The latter was recently named the 2016 car of the year and this is due to the insane performance which it has to offer. Like the Kia Stinger, the Giulia operates on a twin-turbo V6 but it brags 505hp. With such figures, we can’t understand why the Giulia is not moved at all by the Kia Stinger.
