Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Can’t Take Out A Mammoth, The Grand Cherokee!

By  |

The latest Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is a superb sports car which you can buy but it does come with a setback that may leave you embarrassed. It is with the fact that the Camaro ZL1 1LE is not capable of going faster than a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The latter is an SUV that does not have good aerodynamics like the Camaro ZL1 1LE and it is also significantly heavier than the sports car. Despite being at a disadvantage, the Grand Cherokee can still run faster than the Camaro ZL1 1LE and this is thanks to the 707hp Hellcat-sourced V8 engine that is offered with the Trackhawk trim.

The range-topping Jeep Grand Cherokee can allow the SUV to launch into speed swiftly thus allowing it to outpace the Camaro ZL1 on a drag contest.

But before you hate on the Camaro for the defeat, you should know that the sports car from GM is not exactly made for a straight line contest due to having an RWD setup.

It’s also worth noting that both vehicles have yet to go head-to-head with one another. The result is based on the Camaro’s defeat in the hands of a modded Cadillac Escalade – a vehicle which the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has won against yesterday.
