Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: Complaining Neighbors Spawns New Tailpipe

If you live in a high density area, there is always that usual complain about noise. When things get a little louder than usual at the wrong hours, it will eventually get the neighbors calling the police to lodge a complaint.

Well, it appears that this is now affecting the upcoming Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 after reports surfaced claiming that the vehicle is too loud for its own good. Even when still in development, the lads at Nurburgring can’t handle the screams of the upcoming Corvette ZR1 and it has forced Chevrolet to make some changes.

A new leak video surfaced earlier today to highlight on this change and you can check it out below.

It was shown in the clip that the Corvette ZR1 will have bent exhaust so that it can become quieter on the track. The more interesting bit about it is that the Corvette ZR1 in the video sounds like a SC with automatics. Could we be seeing the Corvette ZR1 wearing the new 10-speed automatic gearbox from GM?
