Dodge Viper All-Set To Return In 2020!

By  |

The Dodge Viper made its exit from the market last year and the happening left a trail of sad faces in the automotive scene. But just when we are about to get used to a market without the Viper, a new report has emerged citing that a new-generation model is in the works.

Car&Driver claimed to have legitimate information on this and they revealed that the upcoming Viper is likely to make its official unveiling at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. Furthermore, the Viper will ditch the traditional 10-pot setup in favor of a lightweight V8 – possibly the next-gen Hellcat mill.

If this is true, the new Viper will suggest that Dodge is not planning to back out from a fierce fight with the Ford GT and the upcoming Corvette C8.

But the irony remains to be with the discontinuation of the Viper which is too short for its own good. Why announce on the axing of the Viper in a sad manner when the next-gen model is not that far away from its release? We have barely missed the car.
