Ford F-150 vs Toyota Tundra: Putting Aside Sales!

By  |

The latest Ford F-150 may be the bestselling pickup truck in the market but this does not make it the best choice around. There are areas where the F-150 is behind its rivals, particularly the Toyota Tundra.

The large pickup truck from Toyota may not sound like the most exciting choice but it has proved its worth when it towed a space shuttle in response to the F-150 pulling a commercial aircraft.

If that is not convincing enough, the Tundra now has more power to offer than the Ford F-150 Raptor. Toyota has officially started selling a TRD Supercharger for the Tundra with a 5.7L V8 and it will allow the pickup truck to develop 504hp and 550ft-lbs of torque.

With this particular add-on that can be found in Toyota’s “Parts Sales Guide”, the Tundra can outpace the F-150 Raptor in the race to 60mph. Heck, it can also achieve greater top speed.

This brings us back to the question – is the Ford F-150 still better than the Toyota Tundra? The answer still depends on your preferences and you can share it with us below.
