Ford Fusion Sport: Simple Fix For Sluggish Performance

By  |

What is there not to like about the all-new Ford Fusion Sport? Ford describes the car as the most powerful model in its class and this isn’t rhetorical at all.

The Ford Fusion Sport is truly impressive on the specs sheet as the 2.7L turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine it runs on can develop 325hp and 380ft-lbs of torque. Such a setup can also allow the car to sprint from 0-60mph in an amazing time of 5.3 seconds.

This is certainly faster than rivals Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and many others but unfortunately, not many are getting a pleasant experience with the car. New owners of the Fusion Sport had just realized that they can never get past the 5.7-second mark when attempting a 0-60mph sprint and they are upset by it.

The video above is a great example of the problem on the Fusion Sport and if you are experiencing it, we have got great news for you. There is a simple solution for the matter and it is through nailing more miles on the Fusion Sport. Simply put, the 2.7L unit on the Fusion needs to get cooked before it can return the desired performance.

Those that have owned the Fusion Sport will agree when we say that the performance of the Fusion Sport completely change after about 1,500 miles of driving. Go ahead and try it out. You’ll be amazed.
