Ford Ranger Wants To Shrink Toyota Tacoma & Chevrolet Colorado

By  |

You may have heard of the thief in Arabia but what about the thief in the midsized pickup truck scene? We are referring to the next-gen Ford Ranger as the vehicle will be sold in a saturated market that is dominated by the Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado.

However, due to the Ranger’s iconic name in pickup truck’s history, the vehicle has got a huge chance to make it big but only through eating away sales of the Toyota Tacoma and the Chevrolet Colorado.

The Ranger is likely to come out with plenty of exciting features to make it attractive such as an aluminum body and the best fuel mileage for a midsized pickup truck. For all we know, the Ranger may end up being a scaled down model of the super popular Ford F-150.

As such, it is perhaps right to say that the Ranger is going to be that thief when it returns to the local pickup truck scene. The only question is will the Ranger be able to create a big enough blockade for the Chevrolet Colorado and Toyota Tacoma?

If it doesn’t come with a 445hp version of the 3.5l ecoboost with at least 500lb ft of torque, a 10 speed auto, 4wd, styling from the new f150 and expedition, four full size doors, raptor-styled fox suspension upgrades, Dana axles, dual exhaust, all terrain tires, standard locking tonneau cover and a high quality “get dirty” interior then no it won’t be enough to dethrone anything. It’s going to get trashed just like the mustang does all over the place.

If Ford came out with a new Ranger Looking Close to the one pictured above with a decent reasonable price. I owe a pile of money on a 2010 Jeep compass but I would probably trade for one and have to find somewhere else to live because my wife would divorce me. In the small to mid size extended cab trucks , I really am stuck on the FORD RANGER 4wd!!
