Forget Chevy Bolt, Hyundai Kona EV The Real Threat To Model 3

By  |

Many would think that the EV sales competition will go down to the wire for two particular cars only and they are the Chevrolet Bolt and the Tesla Model 3 but this is actually not accurate at all.

While the Model 3 and the Bolt may be the most affordable EVs with more than 200 miles to offer, their rivalry won’t matter when fighting against the upcoming Hyundai Kona EV.

The latter is about to make its debut here in the US and while it may not get as much attention as the Bolt or the Model 3, the Kona EV does have the right ingredients to become a massive seller in the market.

Just on the surface of things, the Kona EV promises more than 200 miles of electric driving range, greater cabin space and the structure of an SUV. The body style of the Kona EV is the biggest factor here since SUVs are selling marginally better than any other segments at the moment.

The affordable EV scene is lacking in SUVs hence painting a huge prospect for the Kona EV to achieve record-breaking sales figures.

This is a really dopey article – there are reportedly more than 30 electric cars coming to showrooms in the next few years that will be direct or indirect competitors of the Model 3.
