Forget Focus EV, Ford Has A 200-Mile Machine Up Its Sleeves

By  |

Earlier today, Ford holds a press conference to announce their Q1 profit for the year 2016. During a Q&A session, Ford was questioned about their EV future as they have been relatively quiet in the electric scene.

This cannot be helped as the electric C-Max, Focus and Fusion has failed to make a big impact in the industry. Well, Ford is aware of it and they shared that they have something extraordinary in development as we speak.

Ford shared that they know EV is turning into a serious thing with rival carmakers all pursuing 200 miles of driving range as a new standard. Ford then teased that just because they have yet to unveil anything impactful like the Tesla Model 3 and the Chevrolet Bolt EV does not mean that they don’t have the same goal.

At the moment, nobody knows what the future EV product from Ford will be called and what it has to offer. Judging from the sound of it, the vehicle will have what it takes to rival the future EV heavyweights. It is just a matter of time before Ford unveils on their EV champion.
