Forget Mission E, Porsche’s First EV Is The TayCan!

By  |

Every passing day brings us closer to the official commencing of Porsche’s EV program. The German carmaker will release its first ever EV this year and its first product will be largely based on the Mission e Concept.

Unfortunately, this is with the exception of the name because the upcoming EV won’t be called the Mission E or anything close in that regards.

It was confirmed by Porsche earlier today that their first all-electric car will have the name TayCan. It is unsure what Porsche meant when they decided on such a word for the name of their first EV and we can only hope for an explanation happening in the coming months.

If anyone out there know what TayCan means, feel free to educate us in the comment section below.
