Former GM VC Won’t Retract Tesla’s Death Wish!

By  |

If you have been following Tesla closely, then you must have heard about this guy called Bob Lutz. The lad is a former vice chairman of General Motors and he got extra popular last year for his comments towards Tesla.

To keep things short, Bob Lutz warned consumers that Tesla will go bankrupt in November 2017 due to their heavy spending habits. The revenue generated by sales of the Model S, Model X and Model 3 are not piling at a fast enough pace to balance the cheque book.

Well, we are way past November and we can say that Tesla is still doing fine in the automotive scene. But for Bob Lutz, he won’t change his stance towards Tesla as he reiterated earlier today that bankruptcy is inevitable for Tesla.

The lad further warned consumers to hasten the purchase of the Model S, Model X and Model 3. Delaying the purchase won’t do any good as the cars may go extinct once Tesla closes shop.

“Well, we are way past November and we can say that Tesla is still doing fine in the automotive scene.”
Yeah, right. Tesla previews and takes customer orders to raise capital. Problem is, Tesla is running out of future (vaporware) electric vehicles. Better check Tesla’s financials before claiming that “Tesla is fine.”
