Hyundai Kona: Shorts Fired At Honda CR-V & Nissan Rogue

If there is one thing missing in Hyundai’s line-up, it is a crossover that can really pose a great challenge to the Honda CR-V and Nissan Rogue. The Santa Fe is just too huge to get the job done hence the void is needed to be filled by a brand new vehicle.

Well, Hyundai is well aware of this and it has resulted in them building the Kona. Hyundai teased on the Kona a month ago and it appears that they want the vehicle to give a lot of thought for the drivers.

In case you are unaware, the Kona is being shaped to offer the best in performance and this greatly explains why the vehicle is actively being tested at the Nurburgring. Today, a video of the Kona performing a lap test at the legendary track surfaced online and it gives us a glimpse of the power that will come with the vehicle.

The only unfortunate thing here is that Hyundai has been tight-lipped in regards to the Kona’s performance but the video should be able to send out a strong message to the Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue. More details should surface at the next Frankfurt Motor Show.
