Jeep Compass Starts To Get Bored Of Trailhawk Model
What happens when you get bored of something like the Trailhawk badge from Jeep? You get something like it, but different – that’s what the Jeep Compass Trailpass Concept is all about. Like the Trailhawk that it’s based off, it’s made to tackle the challenges of going off-road with ease.
The Trailpass is probably the most low-key and modest concept Jeep is preparing for this year’s Moab Easter Jeep Safari. Visually, it boasts a tame but earnest shade of green that complements custom hood graphics and sporty side stripes.
On the inside it hosts Katzkin leather upholstery, body-color instrument gauge with dial bezel accents, as well as all-weather floor mats courtesy of Jeep Performance Parts. As for hardware the Trailpass includes cross rails, rock rails, a special roof basket also by Jeep Performance Parts, a 1.5-inch lift kit, and 18-inch wheels wrapped in Continental TerrainContact tires.
Those looking for performance improvements, however, would have to look elsewhere as the Jeep Compass Trailpass uses the same 2.4L Tigershark four-banger engine good for 180hp and 175lb-ft torque, handled by the stock nine-speed auto transmission.
