Jeep Grand Cherokee To Welcome A New Twin – Alfa Romeo!

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a great large SUV from Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles but it is not made to transport big volume occupants due to having a 5-seat setup. This void has been addressed by the Grand Cherokee’s twin, the Dodge Durango.

The latter is near-identical to the Grand Cherokee as the only differences are with the 7-seat setup, design and branding. The Durango also lacks the level of luxuries on the Grand Cherokee and it appears that FCA has viewed this as an opportunity to turn the twin into a triplet.

As how it was announced earlier today, Alfa Romeo has got a new project and that is to develop a 7-seater luxury SUV which will be used to compete with the Volvo XC90 and the Audi Q7. The vehicle is expected to be an upsized variant of the recently launched Stelvio and it will have a similar measurement to the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

However, things are expected to be extra special with the 7-seater Alfa Romeo as the car will likely run on an Italian-made engine. A concept of the vehicle is confirmed to debut next year and we will learn more about the 7-seater then.
