Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk vs Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV: It Won’t Happen!

Alfa Romeo is over the moon at the moment as the upcoming Stelvio Quadrifoglio has created a new speed record while still in development.

In detail, the Stelvio QV became the fastest sports SUV to ever race on the Nurburgring and it made this achievement while in prototype form. It was revealed that the Stelvio QV completed a lap around the Ring in just 7:51.7, thus making it faster than previous record holder – the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

The Stelvio QV does not only made Alfa proud but also the entire Fiat-Chrysler company. Speaking of FCA, the firm also has another insane SUV called the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

The latter runs on the 707hp V8 engine that is sourced from the Dodge Hellcat thus making it more powerful than the Stelvio QV in terms of power count. The Stelvio QV only has 505hp to offer from a twin-turbo V6 engine.

The difference in power is huge and it does suggest that the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk may just be able to challenge the Stelvio QV for the Nurburgring record. If you are hoping to see this, it is best you wake because it won’t happen.

FCA simply does not like seeing their vehicles competing with each other and they somehow prefer having their Italian-based brands getting the glory.
