Jeep Wrangler Hybrid Brings 30% Fuel Economy Improvements

By  |

What is there not to like about the Jeep Wrangler? Since the release of the latest generation model late last year, the vehicle has been selling like hotcakes and this is partly owed to the improved fuel economy on the vehicle.

Unlike prior models, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler can return 17mpg city and 21mpg highway, a significant improvement for an all-terrain vehicle. And if that is not convincing enough, you should know that we are inching closer to the release of the Wrangler Hybrid and early figures are now available to give us a measurement on how economical the SUV will be.

It was reported that the Wrangler Hybrid will be able to return 23mpg city and 25mpg highway. Doing the math, you will get an improvement of about 30% from the standard model. The 6mpg step up in city MPG deserves all the praises in the world.

With the Wrangler Hybrid, Jeep can be at ease in the midst of fuel prices uncertainty and global pressures to downsize.
