Jeep Wrangler Pickup Poised To Be An Off-Road Failure?

By  |

One of the vehicles being developed by Jeep at the moment is a pickup truck that is based on the Wrangler. Dubbed as the Wrangler Pickup Truck, the vehicle is projected to make its debut at the next LA Auto Show.

However, we don’t have to wait until then to get a rough look at the vehicle. There are numerous spy shots on the Wrangler Pickup available online but unfortunately, they are all signaling on poor off-road ability with vehicle.

Many are starting to doubt the pickup truck’s off-road ability due to its oversized measurements. As how you can see in the picture here, the length of the vehicle is really long and this may cause problems when off-roading. One off-road enthusiast commented that there is too much rear overhang thus signaling poor departure angle. This can cause damage to the spare tire.

While it does look worrying, we still won’t label the Wrangler Pickup as a failure – at least until we have checked out the vehicle in person.
