Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck: Poor Off-Road Performance Teased

By  |

The Wrangler-based Jeep pickup truck that is in development as we speak is one of the most anticipated vehicles right now and it is projected to make its official unveiling at the LA Auto Show later this year.

The strong anticipation for the Wrangler Pickup Truck is owed to the popularity of pickup trucks here in the US and Jeep’s reputation for offering the best off-road experience around. With these two variables in mind, it raised to prospects of the Wrangler Pickup Truck to be a segment changer.

Well, the off-road fans share a different opinion at the moment, especially after checking out fresh spy photos of the pickup truck from Jeep. The photos saw the pickup truck having too much rear overhang that it signals on poor departure angle. The poor measurements will also hurt the spare tire which rests under the bed of the pickup truck.

We have viewed the spy shots and we can’t help but to agree with the comments. However, we still can’t be certain about it until we are able to get our hands on the Jeep pickup truck.

They should give it the Rubicon’s traction and diff lockers. Other than that it would be just another truck.
