Mazda MX-5 Miata Overwhelms Porsche 718 On The Charts

By  |

The Mazda MX-5 Miata is an iconic roadster in the automotive industry and it continues to become the number one choice around. This cannot be helped as the MX-5 is affordable to own and is extremely fun to drive.

However, being friendly to the wallets does not mean that the MX-5 can’t impress on the track. The vehicle is a proven performer that many described it as a more affordable version of the Porsche 718.

While the latter may have more power to offer, the fun-to-price ratio is in favor of the Mazda MX-5. This explains how the Japanese car is able to experience a 46% incline on the sales front last month when compared to February of last year.

This means that 3 Mazda MX-5 gets sold for every Porsche 718 purchased. The same ratio can be applied against the Fiat 124 Spider. The total number of MX-5 sold last month is 1,108 units and Mazda is hoping to keep this up in the long run.

Can’t say that I’ve driven anything more fun for any price. The latest Miata is absolutely brilliant!
