Mercedes-Benz A-Class: Time To Stop Doubting US Debut?

By  |

German carmakers have this habit of not launching their best creations here in the US. Even if they are to do so, it will take a long time for that particular vehicle to cross the Atlantic pond.

Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to this habit as they too have prevented several models from selling in the US hence many are worried about the fate of the next-gen A-Class.

Dubbed as the best luxury hatchback in automotive history, the future A-Class will debut next year and many are hoping for a confirmation that the car will debut in the US.

While Mercedes has yet to mention anything about it, rumours are claiming that the A-Class will get sold in the US and they have backed this claim up by giving away an internal dealer document.

We have checked out the document and we can say that it looks too real to be a hoax. The only downside to this is that the document indicated the A-Class Sedan will be the only model coming to the US. The hatchback will sit out of the market due to the poor prospects of hatches here.

But as much as we would love to confirm on this, the leak is still unofficial hence you should take it with a grain of salt. If the leak is right and the A-Class will only come out with sedan as the only option, we don’t see any reason to get excited for the vehicle.
